Plastic Culture News: Samurai Tequila Showdown Custom Tequila

This custom is just pure hardcore. Samurai Tequila Showdown is a custom Tequila (of course) by Yoste. The detail work for the tattooed body to the fabric that for the lower body parts along with the mask and armor is just so bloody amazing! Check out the samurai sword; it comes with the stand to hold the sword. This totally killed the original Tequila figure.

Plastic Culture News: King Katch Exposed

This figure was first exposed Friday, July 3rd 2009 via Muttpop. It was said to be released in 2010. Well, August is just around the corner, I would guess King Katch should be releasing in October/November of 2010.

“To make up for my lack of posts this week, I think it’d be fair to show you more of what most people visiting this site are interested in: the King Katch sculpt! I’ve been shying away from a full view, but I think it’s due time I give you a head on look at the King of Wrestling. We worked very closely with Monster5 on King Katch’s teeth. Earlier sculpt versions of Katch had some mighty sharp canines. We felt that the sharper teeth distracted from the overall shape and look of the figure. The final version is a nice balance of menace and approachability. King Katch will be released sometime in 2010.” - MUTTPOP

I would say among all of Muttpop’s character, this has to be one of my favorite… can’t wait to see them!
