Plastic Culture News: Pico and Wilshire by JLed x TLS

Joe! Joe! Joe! Everybody say, “Joe!” He has surpassed many of his great works in the past. Joe Ledbetter and TLS (The Loyal Subjects) will release Pico and his friend Wilshire. Joe is going pre-historic here, with the sabertooth and mammoth. The name Pico and Wilshire sounds like a street name in West L.A… not so sure why Joe named it like so, but since he resides in LA, I guess there’s where he gets most of his inspiration.

Plastic Culture News: Magnus and Friday by JLed x TLS

From the canvases of Joe Ledbetter’s solos show at the Corey Helford Gallery comes these crusaders of love. The set of two griffins is drawn directly from the show’s narrative which finds Magnus on a journey of discovery both of his true self (Magnus Maximus) and his true love, Friday.  As seen in the paintings, Magnus carries a hobo sack – a symbol of his travels.
