Plastic Culture News: Exclusive Treeson Colorway for SDCC

Andy Woo from Crazy Label with the help of DKE Toys will releasing these exclusive color of Treeson during SDCC this year. These 3 inches tall Tresson will come in lime green, powder blue, white, gold and orange in color. They are all $16 a piece and each color is limited to 100 pieces.

Plastic Culture News: Baby Treeson for Taipei Toy Festival 2010

With the start of May, Crazy Label is just 2 months away from arguably the best annual gathering event for toy nerds in Asia – Taipei Toy Festival 2010. Andy and the team from Crazy Label is bringing you this TTF Treeson Exclusive.

I am not really sure whether the creator of Treeson Bubi Ae Yueng will be there or not. It would be awesome if Bubi is there.

Plastic Culture Preview: GODOT by Sergey Safonov x Crazylabel

Sergey Safonov, a toy creator and artist from Moscow will bring us a fresh new character, “Godot”. He is a large bird like figure created by Sergey. The inspirations come from Samuel Becket’s play “Waiting for Godot”.

The play talks about a mysterious someone named Godot who never shows up. Though seem tall, this figure only stands at 4.5″ tall. It comes with a comic book and a removable hat. With the help of Crazylabel, Sergey turned this resin figure prototype into a fabulous vinyl figure late May 2010.

Plastic Culture Preview: Bubi Au Yeung’s Treeson and Other Stories Series 2 Prototype

Bubi Au Yeung’s TREESON and Other Stories Series

After the success release of the first release, it is time for Crazy Label to follow it up with the second series. Here it is the first look at the initial sculpts for Bubi Au Yeung’s Treeson and Other Stories Series 2 that is due this summer.

The first blind-boxed mini series features three baby treeson. Adding to that story and the world, new characters like Mushroom and a pack of amicable stars are ready to bring new adventure to all of us. Expect the final production figures to vary slightly from what you see here.

Plastic Culture Preview: Custom Droplets Series 2

Crazy Label has been successful with the release of Treeson series, especially the new blind box Treeson mini series. Their latest Treeson, Christmas edition was a smash hit. Monster Burp is also one of the top favorite. Almost Two years ago, Andy from Crazy Label released the first series of Droplets. Personally I was pretty skeptical at first, but after a while these mini droplets started to “wink” at me, and it got my attention. I began to collect them myself.
